YES!! I TOTALLY AGREE… But it is also our job as teachers to prepare the child before being placed in this kind of situation. She could have accommodated the different needs and interests of the child and modified her instruction so that the pupil could better understand the situation at the child’s level of understanding. When the foundation is taught correctly and in a developmentally appropriate way, learners progress together as a whole.
