About the Block

📚 11-Week Run
The full eleven weeks are devoted to instructional activities including teacher-made summative tests, and the term examination.

🔕 Uninterrupted Schedule
No school events or extracurricular activities will be held during the block, allowing students and teachers to maintain focus and momentum throughout the entire period.

💻 Powered by Quipper
Learning continues beyond the classroom through Quipper LMS, giving students access to lessons, activities, and assessments anytime, especially during class suspensions.

Please be advised that all Senior High School afternoon session classes have been dismissed following the earthquake felt across the city this afternoon.

To mitigate the loss of instructional time, class advisers have been directed to fast-track the onboarding of students onto the Quipper platform to facilitate the continuation of learning activities remotely.

Faculty researchers from the Low Elementary, High Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School departments of Brokenshire College Toril (BCT) presented research-based solutions to pressing classroom and other challenges during the BCT Faculty Research Congress 2026.

The congress featured seven action research studies that addressed concerns ranging from reading task completion and student responsibility to journalism training, job search preparedness, teacher job satisfaction, food waste reduction, and experiential learning.

Dr. Arthelo Palma, Head of Research and Community Extension, underscored that research is an essential part of the BCT mission statement highlighting the role of scholarly inquiry in identifying challenges and developing effective, evidence-based solutions.

The congress provided a venue for BCT educators to share innovations and best practices developed within their respective academic levels.

The event was facilitated by Dr. Palma and co-moderated by academic head Dr. Cherrie Paniamogan.

💃🏻 Experience in dance, gymnastics or cheering
🤸🏻 Able to perform Jumps, stunts, cartwheel or acrobatics

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 | In observance of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, a regular holiday, there will be no classes and office operations on Friday.

Classes will resume on Monday, June 15, while non-academic office operations will resume on Saturday, June 13.
