IN PHOTOS: General Trias Memorial Elementary School participated in today's 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. Learners, teachers, and school personnel performed the proper earthquake preparedness procedures, including the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique.
The activity aimed to enhance disaster preparedness, promote safety awareness, and strengthen the school's emergency response capabilities. Through this activity, learners and personnel were reminded of the importance of staying prepared during emergencies.

IN PHOTOS: SDO Personnel Conduct Monitoring Visit at GTMES
Personnel from the Schools Division Office conducted a monitoring visit at General Trias Memorial Elementary School to monitor and provide technical assistance on the implementation of various school programs and initiatives.
The monitoring team was composed of Ms. Leah Anne A. Misenas, Senior Education Program Specialist, who monitored the implementation of Brigada Eskwela; Mr. Erwin A. Asugui, Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH, who conducted the MAPEH Program monitoring; and Ms. Jocelyn L. Fortuno, Cluster 4 Public Schools District Supervisor, who monitored the implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program.
During the visit, the SDO personnel provided technical assistance, shared valuable insights, and offered recommendations to further enhance the implementation of the monitored programs.
General Trias Memorial Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the SDO monitoring team for their time, expertise, and unwavering support in helping the school strengthen its programs and initiatives for the benefit of all learners.

Rue (Mathematics), and Ms. Maricel P. Malabanan (Science), conducted a monitoring visit at General Trias Memorial Elementary School on June 11, 2026, as part of the school's Opening of Classes Readiness for SY 2026–2027. The monitoring team assessed the school's preparedness in terms of facilities, learning resources, safety measures, and other essential requirements to ensure that everything is in place for the opening of classes.
The school earned a 96% rating, equivalent to Highly Ready, reflecting the hard work, teamwork, and dedication of the teachers and staff in preparing for the start of the school year. Under the leadership of the school principal, Ms. Mary Ann B. Pascua, General Trias Memorial Elementary School continues to uphold its commitment to providing a safe, conducive, and learner-friendly environment for all GTMESians.
The school extends its sincere appreciation to the visiting supervisors for their time, guidance, and valuable recommendations during the monitoring visit. Their insights and feedback will serve as a guide in the school's continuous efforts to enhance its programs, strengthen its services, and provide quality education for all learners.

IN PHOTOS: General Trias Memorial Elementary School warmly welcomed its learners this morning as it officially opened School Year 2026–2027 through its first flag ceremony held at the school covered court. Hosted by the Grade 5 teachers, the program marked the beginning of another academic year and was attended by pupils, teachers, and school personnel.
In her welcome message, School Principal Ms. Mary Ann B. Pascua encouraged learners to embrace the new school year with confidence, determination, and a passion for learning. She reminded pupils to uphold the values of respect, responsibility, and excellence both inside and outside the classroom as they begin another year of learning.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the message of Dr. Carlito D. Rocafort, Director IV and Regional Director of DepEd CALABARZON, who inspired learners to pursue their goals and make the most of every learning opportunity. The ceremony concluded with learners and teachers looking forward to a productive and successful School Year 2026–2027 at GTMES.
