Gurong Franciscans Gear Up for SY 2026–2027 Through School-Based INSET Program
To ensure the delivery of relevant and quality Catholic education to Franciscan learners for the upcoming School Year 2026–2027, the Gurong Franciscans actively participated in the School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) Program held from June 1–9, 2026.
The program provided an avenue to revisit the school's Vision and Mission, discuss the policies and guidelines of the Garantisadong Pagkatuto Program (GPP), explain the grading system and learning components, distribute class schedules, and reorient teachers on the institution's Human Resource Policies.
Moreover, the Mission Team, Institutional Development Plan (Networking and Physical Plant) Team, and the Administrative Support Team facilitated orientation sessions designed to strengthen school programs, enhance facilities and stakeholder partnerships, improve support services, and promote the holistic development of the entire school community in preparation for the new academic year.
The INSET culminated with an Individual Kumustahan with Fr. Benito De Castro, Assistant School Director, providing teachers with an opportunity for personal dialogue and reflection, followed by the Closing Insights of Mrs. Darlene Reyes, who encouraged everyone to translate the knowledge, skills, and values gained from the INSET into meaningful action as they continue their mission of forming competent, compassionate, and Christ-centered Franciscan learners.
