A.Y. 2025–2026 was a year of growth, learning, and meaningful experiences for the Psychology community. Through every initiative, event, and shared achievement, LUPS remained committed to creating opportunities that empowered and united Psychmates. 💜

None of this would have been possible without the trust, support, and active participation of every student who became part of our journey. Each milestone we reached reflects the collective dedication, passion, and spirit of our community.

The League of United Psychology Students (LUPS), in collaboration with the PSY 301 and PSY 302 students of the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite, successfully conducted the second year of the 𝗠𝗔.𝗧𝗔.𝗧𝗔𝗚. Program (𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼, 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻: "𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱") on May 19-20, 2026, at Barangay San Gabriel IV, General Trias City, Cavite.

On May 19, 2026, participants took part in discussions on mental health awareness and emotional well-being. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐨 introduced the principles of Psychological First Aid, highlighting the three action principles: Look, Listen, and Link. Participants learned how to identify individuals in distress, provide empathetic support, and connect them with appropriate resources. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐃. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 then discussed stress management and emotional regulation, sharing practical strategies for managing emotions and everyday stressors.

On May 20, 2026, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐑. 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐜𝐚 facilitated a session on teenage pregnancy awareness. The discussion focused on its realities, challenges, and responsibilities while emphasizing informed decision-making, self-awareness, and adolescent guidance. Participants gained valuable insights that encouraged responsible choices and personal growth.

Now in its second year, the MA.TA.TAG. Program continues to promote education, awareness, and community empowerment. The League of United Psychology Students extends its heartfelt gratitude to the officials and residents of Barangay San Gabriel IV for their warm welcome, active participation, and unwavering support. Together, we continue building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.
