Tidman Elementary School warmly welcomed School Year 2026–2027 with hearts full of gratitude and hope. Under the leadership of our dedicated School Principal, Marivic D. Sumagaysay, emphasized that education is not merely about gaining knowledge inside the classroom, but a powerful foundation that shapes character, opens doors to opportunities, and empowers every child to build a brighter future.

She reminded everyone that true learning is a shared responsibility. One that requires the active partnership of teachers, parents, and the community. The entire faculty and staff gathered to extend a heartfelt message to all learners and their parents.

Together, they expressed their commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment where every learner is encouraged to dream big, work hard, and value the gift of education as their greatest key to success.

To the 4Ps and TUPAD beneficiaries, thank you for sharing your time and effort to help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the school. To the Tidman Barangay Council headed by Hon. Roger P. Agorto, the SK officials, and everyone who rendered dedicated and meritorious service.

Brigada Eskwela (June 1-5, 2026)
Theme: “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Pagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman”

The first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 formally commenced with an opening parade followed by a brief program. The activity began with an invocation, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and opening remarks by
PTA President Mr. Warren J. Agorto. This was followed by the checking of attendance and the reading of the Statement of Purpose.

A message was then delivered by School Principal Marivic D. Sumagaysay, who emphasized the significance of bayanihan and stakeholder engagement in preparing school facilities for the opening of School Year 2026–2027. Hon. Ron Ron P. Mainit also gave a short talk and expressed his full support to the school. Likewise, City Savings Bank, represented by Mr. Ronald D. Osorio, donated 8 gallons of paint and paintbrushes for the school’s improvement.

The Brigada Eskwela Pledge was led by Mr. Adam Cativo. Hon. Roger P. Agorto, Punong Barangay, also conveyed his message of support. He assigned volunteers to clean the school grounds and operate the grass cutter to ensure the safety of learners for the opening of classes. The program formally concluded with closing remarks by Hon. Nimfa S. Barrios.

An enrollment assistance booth was also set up to address inquiries and facilitate the enrollment of incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grades 2–6, and Balik-Aral learners. This initiative ensured that parents and guardians received timely guidance regarding enrollment requirements and procedures.

The day’s activities ended with a brief debriefing among school personnel and volunteers. The successful implementation of the program reflects the strong partnership between the school and its stakeholders. This collective effort greatly contributed to improving the school’s physical facilities in preparation for the opening of classes.
