And so it's a wrap! Tropang Kapitenyo: Raising Mentally Strong Kids, the final leg at CCF Bacoor last Saturday, May 16.

When we asked parents what they were bringing home, one wrote: "Coaching, not controlling." Another said that showing up for your children is an act of obedience to God. One came with no plan to homeschool and left praying about it with the Lord. Another simply wrote: "God is good. His love was shared and experienced today."

That is the whole point of Tropang Kapitenyo. Rooms full of parents across three different venues in three different cities, all from nine municipalities, and choosing to be intentional about the most important job they will ever have.

Thank you, CCF Bacoor, for the space and the welcome on our final leg. Thank you to everyone who helped pull this together. And thank you to every parent who gave us a Saturday afternoon for the past few weeks. In a world that moves very fast and asks so much from us, that is not a small thing. That already says everything about the kind of parent you are trying to be.

Sherwin and Ariane thought they were teaching their daughter, Ava. Turns out, she's been teaching him, too. One year into homeschooling, they're still learning: how to be patient, how to show up when he's tired, how to keep pouring even when the cup feels empty.

Yesterday, April 11, Tropang Kapitenyo filled the room at CCF Imus for one reason: parents who refused to figure it out alone. "Raising Strong Kids: A Free Parenting Seminar on Building Mental, Emotional, and Holistic Strength in Today's Generation" was everything we hoped it would be and more. Full house, real conversations, and a room full of parents who showed up on a Friday afternoon just to be better.

Thank you to our speaker, Teacher Boots Villote, whose parenting talk left the room quiet in the best way and gave every parent something real to bring home. Thank you to CCF Imus for opening your doors and your hearts to this community once again. Thank you to our hosts Xymun and Xyna for holding the room with so much warmth and making every parent feel welcome from the moment they walked in. Our dear worship leaders, Julia and Antoñella, thank you for setting everyone's hearts and minds on Jesus. Thank you to HG Dads Vlad and Carlo for grounding our participants in faith and leading them in prayer with so much sincerity. And thank you to every facilitator and HG Imus advisor who worked behind the scenes to make the day run the way it did.

To every parent who sat in that room: thank you for showing up. In a world that moves very fast and asks very little of us, choosing to spend your afternoon learning how to be better for your children is not a small thing. That already says everything about the kind of parent you are trying to be.
