๐๐๐๐๐: The Cavite State University Extension Services Center (CvSU ESC) conducted trainingโworkshop titled โAdvanced Data Management Using Google Sheets for ESC Staffโ on June 16, 2026, at the Technology Demonstration Farm Training Hall, CvSU Main Campus, as part of its commitment to build staff competencies and improve the efficiency of extension operations and reporting.
The program opened with the Invocation and National Anthem, followed by welcome remarks from Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, Director of the Extension Services Center, who emphasized the importance of accurate, organized, and accessible data management in delivering quality extension services and supporting evidenceโbased decisionโmaking.
Ms. Janine B. Bacosmo, Extension Coordinator of CvSU Carmona Campus, served as the resource speaker during the trainingโworkshop. She discussed the challenges of traditional recordโkeeping and demonstrated how Google Sheets can address these through cloud storage, realโtime collaboration, automatic saving, and data consolidation.
The session covered the interface and basic navigation of Google Sheets, followed by hands-on exercises on data audit, cleaning, validation, sorting, filtering, formula application, data linking, and dashboard creation.
Through the lectures and practical activities, ESC personnel enhanced their skills in organizing, processing, and analyzing data, which will help reduce manual errors, save time, and produce more reliable and timely accomplishment reports.
The program concluded with sharing of the impressions, evaluation, and the awarding of certificates. Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, delivered the closing remarks, reaffirming CvSUโs commitment to continuous professional development and the use of modern tools to improve the quality and efficiency of extension services.

Ang โVegeBee HarBEEst Festivalโ ay bahagi ng proyektong VegeBee (Vegetable Production and Stingless Beekeeping Technology) na naglalayong ilapit ang masustansya at de-kalidad na ani ng ating mga magsasaka sa mga mamimili. Tampok dito ang sari-saring produktong agrikultural at mga likhang-kamay mula sa mga bayan ng Alfonso, Amadeo, Indang, at Silang, Cavite.
Tara at sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang bunga ng sipag at dedikasyon ng ating mga magsasaka.

๐๐๐๐๐: The Cavite State University Extension Services Center (CvSU ESC) conducted the Vegetable Processing and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Training on June 14, 2026, at the Parish Church of BF Homes, Paraรฑaque City, as part of its commitment to community empowerment and sustainable livelihood development.
The program opened with a welcome message from Mr. Alberto M. Dacuycuy, Parish Church member, who emphasized the importance of livelihood programs in providing hope and opportunities for families by equipping them with practical skills that can help augment household income.
Ms. Elma E. Gappe, Project Leader of the Go Gulay and Head of the Technology Promotion Division of ESC, discussed the fundamentals of HACCP and its importance in ensuring food safety and maintaining product quality standards.
Dr. Patrick Glenn C. Ilano, Manager of CvSU Hostel Tropicana, discussed โNutritious Bread with Vegetables for Sustainable Livelihoodโ and conducted a hands-on workshop on vegetable processing and value-added food production.
Through the lectures and practical demonstrations of the resource speakers, participants enhanced their knowledge on food safety, vegetable processing, and livelihood-oriented food product development, which can support community and household income generation.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Engr. Arnelyn S. Romilla, Head of the Training and Courseware Development Division, who reaffirmed CvSUโs commitment to empowering communities through extension services and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

The Cavite State University โ Extension Services Center (ESC), in partnership with the College of Advanced and Professional Studies (CAPS), successfully conducted the training titled โCAPS Na, RESCOM Pa: Capability Advancement and Professionalization of Skills of the Reserved Command of the Philippine Armyโ on June 10, 2026, at the Reserve Command of the Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA) Headquarters in Tanza, Cavite.
The activity aims to enhance the competencies of RESCOM PA personnel through a 24-hour training program consisting of six sessions covering Oral and Written Communication, Office Productivity Tools, Leadership, and Policy Development. The sessions are aligned with the results of the needs assessment conducted by the Extension Services Center.
During the program, Dr. Bettina Joyce P. Ilagan, Dean of CAPS, gave the overview of the extension activity, while Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, Director of the Extension Services Center, introduced the resource speaker.
Dr. Bernard S. Feranil, Director of the Center for Language Learning and Research and Master of Arts in English Language Studies (MAELS) Program Coordinator, served as the resource speaker.
Present during the activity were ESC Training and Courseware Development Division, led by Engr. Arnelyn S. Romilla, Head of the Division, and Ms. Razelle A. Astudillo, staff, and from the Community Engagement and External Relations Division, Ms. Paula Gie C. Ducusin.

Sa CvSU Technology Demonstration Farm, matatagpuan ang pinagsamang varieties ng ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐จ at ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐จ sa pamamagitan ng teknolohiyang ito.
Bilang agricultural innovation, nakakatulong ang grafting upang mapabilis ang pamumunga, mapaganda ang uniformity ng ani, at mapataas ang productivity at kalidad ng produksyon ng mangga, na sumusuporta sa mas efficient at sustainable na agrikultura.
