Building on the resolutions and gains of the previous Luzon-wide SUC Faculty and Staff Summit, this three-day gathering aims to bring together SUC faculty and staff leaders across Visayas and Mindanao to exchange experiences, assess current conditions, and discuss the pressing issues confronting our sector.
Through collective dialogue, we seek to strengthen unity, formulate concrete resolutions, and advance the rights, welfare, and democratic interests of SUC faculty and staff while contributing to the broader struggle for quality public education.
Join us as we unite in advancing our collective welfare and championing a nationalist, scientific, and mass-oriented education system. โ

๐ฅ How do childhood experiences shape the future of Filipino adolescents?
Join us for โUgnayan: The Journey of Filipino Adolescents Across Past, Present, and Futureโ, a dissemination forum on longitudinal studies of Filipino adolescents, happening on June 17, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The forum will present key findings from the Longitudinal Cohort Study on the Filipino Child, one of the most comprehensive longitudinal studies on child development in the Philippines. It is a landmark 15-year study supported by the Australian Government, UNFPA Philippines, and UNICEF Philippines , and led by researchers from theUSC- Office of Population Studies Foundation, Inc. Through successive waves of data collection, researchers have examined child and adolescent well-being across key domains, including health, education, gender, violence, and socioeconomic vulnerability.
Discover how experiences in childhood and adolescence shape present outcomes and future opportunities, and how longitudinal evidence can support more responsive and forward-looking policies for Filipino youth.

The University of the Philippines Cebu takes part in UP Public Service Day through SUMADA, presenting a range of initiatives that reflect its continuing work with communities.
These initiatives include programs in livelihood development, environmental management, science education outreach, public health, medical services, and access to education for senior high school students.
They form part of Alab ng Puso, the systemwide public service program of the University of the Philippines, which highlights the Universityโs extension work and community partnerships across its constituent units.
