Please be informed that the 765 additional applicants for the Scholarship Program of the Office of the Congressman are advised to proceed to the IT Building tomorrow, June 19, 2026, at 7:30 AM for their registration in the One Lapu-Lapu App.

Applicants are advised to bring and present their school ID during the registration. For those who do not have a school ID yet, please bring and present any valid ID.

The applicants will be assisted by our Scholarship Coordinator, Ms. Elvie S. Espinosa, and the staff from the Office of the Congressman during the registration.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1276, Wednesday, June 17, 2026 is hereby declared a Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Lapu-Lapu in celebration of our 65th Charter Anniversary. As we commemorate this historic milestone under the theme, “Celebrating 65 Years of Service and Progress: Empowered by People, United in Purpose."

In line with this, there will be NO CLASSES at all levels in both public and private schools across Lapu-Lapu City.

I warmly invite every Oponganon to join us for the 65th Charter Day Program at 7:00 AM at the Lapu-Lapu City Hall Grounds. The celebration will also be broadcasted live across our official social media pages.

As we celebrate 65 years since the Municipality of Opon became the City of Lapu-Lapu through Republic Act No. 3134 on June 17, 1961, let us honor the generations of Oponganons whose hard work, unity, and dedication have transformed our city into one of the country’s leading centers of tourism, trade, and investment.

Please be informed that attached to this post is the complete list of additional applicants for the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧, as selected by the Office of the Congressman.

Applicants whose names appear on the list are advised to prepare and complete the following requirements:

1. Pay ₱50.00 at the Cashier's Office, Lapu-Lapu City Hall, for the Certificate of Registration (COR) for the 1st Semester, Academic Year 2026–2027. A list has already been provided at the Cashier’s Office.
2. Return to LLCC and submit the Official Receipt (OR).
3. After submitting the OR, applicants may claim their COR.
4. Secure a Barangay Indigency Certificate.
5. Secure a Voter’s Certification or Voter’s Slip (or that of your parent/guardian).

All four requirements must be brought to the Office of the Congressman on Monday, June 22. The scholarship application form will be provided at the Congressman’s Office for the applicants to fill out.

Patuloy na nakikipagtulungan ang Tara, Basa! Program sa mga Lokal na Pamantasan at Kolehiyo sa paghahatid ng dekalidad na serbisyo para sa bawat at pamilyang Pilipino. Ngayong 2026, kabilang ang Lapu-Lapu City College (LLCC), sa pamumuno ni College President Dr. Ma. Noeleen Borbajo, sa 14 pamantasan na bahagi ng implementasyon ng Tara, Basa! sa Cebu.

Maraming salamat LLCC lalo na sa partner-beneficiaries natin na nagsilbi bilang Tutors at Youth Development Workers (YDWs) ngayong taon mula sa unibersidad. Ang inyong pakikiisa ay tanda ng ating kolektibong pagkilos sa pagpapaunlad ng karunungan ng bawat kabataan at pamilyang Pilipino.

Please be informed that 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐓 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who were not able to complete their enrollment last June 2 (Tuesday) due to system error or system-related concerns are advised to return on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Concerned students are requested to proceed to the Registrar’s Office and complete their enrollment requirements.

Lapu-Lapu City College will conduct the General Orientation Seminar for incoming first-year students for School Year 2026-2027 at the LLCC Multi-Purpose Building.

Registration starts at 7:15 AM. The program will run until 12:00 noon.

Incoming first-year students are reminded to wear the prescribed school dress code: white T-shirt, jeans, and closed-toe shoes.

Students are also advised to bring the following:

✅ Printed study load to be presented to the school guards upon entering the campus
✅ Snacks and drinking water for personal convenience
✅ Cellphone with active data load for the QR Code Evaluation

The orientation aims to familiarize students with the College’s academic policies, student services, school regulations, safety and security guidelines, GAD orientation, and other important matters for their successful transition to college life.
