The College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management of LSPU–Los Baños Campus successfully held Project EMPRESSARIO: SESSION 5: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for SMEs on October 24, 2025, at the PESO Municipality of Los Baños.

Led by Dr. Dian M. Guia, the activity aimed to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial and customer relations skills, promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and community empowerment. 💪✨

Last March 14, 2025, the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM), in collaboration with Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y), held an inspiring on-site event dedicated to youth empowerment, education, and skill development.

The highlight of the event was a talk by Dr. Esmeralda Alhambra, who shared her expertise in event management and valuable insights on personal and professional growth. 🌱✨

Skills Training on Homemade Loaf Bread was conducted, reaffirming its commitment to developing practical culinary competencies and promoting livelihood opportunities. 👩‍🍳💚

The event began with an opening prayer led by Dr. Roderico S. Ruin, followed by welcome remarks from Dr. Cris Q. De Leon, who highlighted the value of creativity and skill-building in the kitchen.

The highlight of the training was the engaging hands-on bread-making session facilitated by Mr. Ian Kenneth D. Deuna, who shared expert tips on preparation, kneading, proofing, and baking. 🥖✨

Special thanks to Dr. Mary Ann S. Hernandez for overseeing registration, documentation, and evaluation, which revealed excellent feedback from participants.

Through this initiative, CIHTM continues to empower learners with practical, livelihood-generating skills that inspire self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. 🌿💼

The soft opening of Native Hands PH marked a meaningful milestone for the Indigenous Peoples (IP) community of Brgy. Cueva. With the theme “Crafted with Heritage, Baked with Heart,” the event highlighted cultural pride, livelihood development, and community empowerment.

Featuring coffee brewing and baking demonstrations, product showcases, and generous donations from partner organizations, the event embodied unity, hope, and sustainability.

🍞✨ Skills Training on Homemade Monay ✨🍞

The CIHTM Extension and Training Services successfully conducted a Homemade Monay Making Training at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Los Baños.

Led by Mr. Ian Kenneth Deuna as the resource speaker and trainer, participants learned the fundamentals of baking the classic Filipino bread, Monay — from understanding ingredients and techniques to hands-on dough kneading. 💪👩‍🍳

The event was facilitated by Ms. Angelica C. Fundan as host and moderator, and efficiently documented by Ms. Joanna Marie D. Pagne. Through this initiative, participants gained not only new baking skills but also a livelihood opportunity that promotes empowerment and rehabilitation within the community. 🌿💛
