TINGNAN || Sa pagdiriwang ng DSS Testimonial Rites 2026 na may temang BUKAS: Open Minds, Shared Futures, ikinararangal ipakilala ng Department of Social Sciences (DSS) ang ating panauhing tagapagsalita, 𝗗𝗶𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗡. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀.
𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗡. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀, bilang panauhing tagapagsalita ng DSS Testimonial Rites 2026.

This initiative seeks to gauge public interest in pursuing a program that provides a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, mental processes, and social relationships, while emphasizing the influence of culture, communities, and social contexts on individual and collective well-being.
The proposed BA Psychology program, to be adopted from the University of the Philippines Tacloban, aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to analyze human behavior, conduct psychological research, and apply psychological principles to address contemporary social concerns. As issues related to mental health, disaster resilience, and social development continue to gain importance, the program seeks to prepare graduates who can contribute to the promotion of well-being in Filipino communities.
Graduates may pursue careers in human resources, community development, research, mental health and psychosocial support, government service, non-government organizations, training and development, and other people-centered professions. The program may also serve as a strong foundation for graduate studies in psychology and related fields.
