Green spaces are important components of localities. In urban places, these are known as lungs of cities and a re generally classified as urban areas.

For the final organized session, EnP Jay Keenson C. Acebuche and Atty. Mark Anthony M. Gamboa will discuss real life cases, efforts and strategies of localities in greening cities.

EnP Acebuche will open the session by discussing about the "Provincial Risk Profile of Northern Samar Using Provincial Climate Risk Diagnostics". As the current OIC of the Provincial Planning and Development Office of the Province of Northern Samar, he has made significant contributions in advancing progressive local planning development efforts at the provincial level.

He will be joined by Atty. Mark M. Gamboa who will talk about "Reclaiming Public Spaces as Neighbourhood Commons: Bridging Open Space Policies and Practice Through Neighbourhood Science". As a lawyer and environmental planner, he specializes in planning law, legal geography, and Neighbourhood science.
