In this time of pandemic, there is a growing concern over the influence of social media towards adolescents' food choices and eating patterns. Additionally, adolescents have increased nutritional requirements but there has been a decrease in consumption of nutrient-rich food especially vegetables according to recent data.
In line with this, we, the BS Nutrition students taking up HNF 199 from the University of Philippines Los Baños, would like to invite you to our webinar titled “GEN Znacks: Promoting Vegetable-Enriched Trendy Snacks and Understanding the Role of Social Media in Adolescent Diet” to be held on September 18, 2021 at 3:15 PM via Zoom. This webinar aims to introduce food innovations of trendy snacks through presentation of selected product development studies by HNF 199 students.
