Getting invited to a podcast wasn’t something we expected this year, but we’re so grateful for the opportunity! Thank you, Para Kanino? Podcast, for letting us share what we’re passionate about and the people we’re doing this for. 🎙️💚

What a game-changing year it has been! 🎲✨

This year was packed with action, learning, and a whole lot of play. Believe it or not, we’ve been gearing up for this moment since last year, and seeing it all come to life in 2024 has been nothing short of fulfilling. 💖

Here’s how we rolled the dice this year:

🎉 500 students dove into the world of agriculture through 5 play-based workshops
🙌 Supported by an amazing team of 34 volunteers
🌏 Took our mission to 2 countries (hello, USA and Singapore!)
🎙️ Featured in 3 exciting engagements – from podcasts to workshops to incubation programs
🎂 And the biggest highlight? We celebrated our first anniversary! 🥳

🌟Throwback! Can you believe it’s been a whole year since that mind-blowing 2023 Asian Undergraduate Symposium in Singapore? 🤯

Last year, the AUS program brought together students from all over Asia, especially our ASEAN friends, for an unforgettable two-week adventure at NUS College. 🌏🎉 Those memories? Priceless. The friendships forged with students from Singapore and beyond? Irreplaceable. 🥰

During the cultural exchange, networking, and pure inspiration, our paths crossed. We were a diverse group of undergrads who came together and bonded over a unique challenge: breaking the stereotypes around agriculture. And that’s when the magic happened. Our group created something truly special. We called it “Gro Up!” 🃏🌱 Our mission? To turn the world of farm management and agri-profession education into a fun and engaging card game. 🚜🌽

Looking back, AUS wasn’t just a program—it was our launchpad for lifelong connections, brilliant ideas, and unforgettable moments. And who could forget the closing ceremony? The applause, the tears, the promises to stay connected across borders. 🤗🌈 When we left, we carried home a heart full of shared dreams and a suitcase bursting with souvenirs. ✨

So, to all you scattered AUS participants across time zones: Raise your virtual glasses! 🥂 Here’s to the anniversary of AUS, dear friends! Let’s keep sowing seeds of innovation and joy wherever we roam. 🌿🌎 !

Exciting news! ✨ Our Gro-Founder and CEO, Mark Jamer, bagged a prize at the finals of the Spring Pitch Competition at Kent State University in Ohio, USA! 🇺🇸

The Business Spring Pitch Competition is the largest pitch competition for student entrepreneurs at the university organized by the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. This year, there were about 40 applications, 15 semi-finalists in the semi-final live-pitch round, and 7 finalists who underwent a month-long mentorship and training.

While our Spring Pitch journey has come to an end, our mission of bringing our advocacy on the international stage continues 🌏🌱

Capping off our YSIL 2023 journey on the UNDP Philippines stage! 🌱 Gro-Founder and COO, Phoebe Uy, took on the stage at the Demo Day for the Youth Social Innovation Lab 2023 last week.

Out of 20 program startups, we were one of the 6 chosen to showcase our innovative solutions to some of the country's most pressing challenges. Big congrats to all the inspiring startups that completed the program and nailed their pitches! 🌟

The Youth Social Innovation Lab (YSIL) 2023 is Youth Co:Lab’s pre-incubation and mentorship program aimed at supporting social entrepreneurs in their entrepreneurial journey.

Wrapping up our workshops at DepEd Tayo General Licerio Topacio NHS - Imus City with a huge shoutout to the 500+ amazing students who made it a blast! 🌟 The Gro Up Fam had a farm-tastic time with the five-series workshop, and the freedom wall at our booth revealed some awesome dreams – turns out, a lot of future leaders in agriculture in the making! 🌾👩‍🌾

Special thanks to the Technology and Livelihood Education Department for the support throughout the event! 🙌🎉
