is now accepting applications for the Research Scholarship Program, which provides financial support to ongoing Master’s and PhD students whose research addresses pressing concerns in agriculture and rural development in Southeast Asia.

The research should be relevant to SEARCA’s priority thrusts under its current Five-Year Development Plan: Sustainable Transformation of Agricultural Systems through Innovation in Southeast Asia ( ).

Applicants must be:
🌱 A Southeast Asian national enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program
🌱 With an approved thesis/dissertation proposal related to SEARCA’s priority thrusts and currently conducting research activities
🌱 Expected to complete all research activities, including manuscript writing, within one year from the date of award

To apply for Tuition Loan/SLB Programs (i.e. Tuition Loan / SLB Promissory Note, Request to Avail of 100% SLB, Tuition Loan / SLB Application), follow the instructions below:

📒Access the OVCSA website at https://uplbosa.org/ and log in to your OSAM Account. It is important to ensure your OSAM profile has accurate and updated information, including your name, student number, degree program, and college. If you need assistance in creating an OSAM Account and updating the above details, you need to send an email to RECOMMIT at [email protected]

You are also required to upload a recent photo and update your year level, and permanent home address on your OSAM profile to be able to apply for the Tuition Loan/SLB Programs.

Important Note: If your OSAM account is not updated or if you submit incorrect requirements, your application will not be prioritized or processed.

📒After logging in, navigate to Student Services > Financial Assistance > Tuition Loan/ SLB Program.

📒Read the description and click on the SLC program you wish to avail. (Please note that this page will only display the available SLC programs that you are eligible to avail.)

We encourage all graduating students and graduate faculty to order the GS medallion. The medallion is worn on our Sablay to distinguish graduates of Master's and PhD programs.

For those graduating this July 2026, this medallion will be given to you during the Hooding and Recognition Ceremonies (03 July) and you can wear this during the Commencement Ceremonies on 04 July.
