UPLB CAFS Publications

Our Story

The Publications Section is a dynamic and self-sustaining unit of the College of Agriculture and Food Science (CAFS), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) that promotes agricultural sciences through its scholarly publications.

Established in April 1, 1986 as College of Agriculture (CA) Publications Program, it was institutionalized to become the CA Publications Office in January 2000. Later on, the office was transformed into the CA Publications Section under the CA Extension Unit. Now, the Section is directly under the Associate Dean for Research and Extension due to the restructuring of CA into CAFS in January 2017.

So far, the Publications Section has produced numerous textbooks, laboratory manuals, reference materials, leaflets, brochures and other extension communication materials. The Section is also in-charge of publishing the Aggie Green and Gold, CAFS’ quarterly newsletter, the CAFS Monthly Newsletter and TheAgriTourist magazine.
