In the Philippines, it’s usually spread through dog bites. Once the virus reaches the brain, symptoms like paralysis, hydrophobia, and hallucinations can occur—and it’s almost always fatal once they appear.

These factors vary among species, for example, the ʟᴀᴛᴇʀᴀʟ ꜱᴀᴘʜᴇɴᴏᴜꜱ ᴠᴇɪɴ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɴᴅʟɪᴍʙ is commonly used in small animals like dogs and cats, while the ᴊᴜɢᴜʟᴀʀ ᴠᴇɪɴ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴇᴄᴋ ʀᴇɢɪᴏɴ is preferred for large animals such as cattle and horses. 🐶🐱🐮🐴
