QAlity Time for quality outcomes

The UPOU Quality Assurance Office (QAO) conducted a two-day QAlity Time session to support the External Quality Review (EQR) readiness of the Master of ASEAN Studies and Master of Social Work programs under the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS). The activity brought together program representatives and quality assurance advocates to review requirements, align documentation, and strengthen quality assurance practices in preparation for upcoming assessments.
Through initiatives like this, UPOU continues to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement in its academic programs.

UPOU joins the 2026 UP System QA Conference

INPHOTOS: Officials of the UP Open University (UPOU), together with its degree program chairs and academic QA officers, are participating in the 2026 UP System QA Conference, taking place from 8 to 9 June 2026.

The two-day conference serves as a platform for quality assurance practitioners, academic leaders, and administrators across the UP System to discuss emerging developments, share best practices, and strengthen quality assurance initiatives in support of academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Through its participation, UPOU reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of quality and ensuring the continuous enhancement of its academic programs, services, and institutional processes.

UPOU ranks first among top-performing schools in the May 2026 Environmental Planner Licensure Examination, a distinction shared with UP Diliman and UP Visayas.

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) proudly celebrates its outstanding performance in the May 2026 Environmental Planner Licensure Examination (EnPLE), earning recognition as one of the country’s top-performing schools.

UPOU also takes pride in its Top 10 placers from the Diploma in Land Use Planning (DLUP) program:
