💜 That’s a wrap for the 107th UPLB Loyalty Day Celebration! 🌞

Beneath the warm Sunday sun last October 5, the UP Sigma Beta Sorority – Los Baños Chapter joined the morning parade and gathered once more at the Tambayan for a heartfelt luncheon in celebration of Loyalty Day. The air was filled with laughter, stories, and the spirit of homecoming — a beautiful reunion of sisters across generations.

Everywhere you looked, there was purple — a symbol of our enduring bond, shared legacy, and the elegance that transcends every era. Here’s to 70 years of loyalty, sisterhood, and the timeless pride of being a Sigma Betan. ✨

The U.P. Sigma Beta Sorority Los Baños Chapter is beyond grateful to have celebrated our 70th Anniversary last August 15, 2025. The day was filled with warmth and meaning, beginning with a Thanksgiving Mass, followed by a heartfelt joint Luncheon with our brothers, sisters and alumnae at the Tambayan, and culminating in a joyful dinner at Danielito’s: The Den.

It was a day that honored our cherished legacy of sisterhood, unity, and service, while also looking forward with hope and pride to the years ahead.

We sincerely thank everyone who joined us in this milestone celebration — your presence and support made the occasion even more special. Here’s to 70 years of sisterhood and to many more years of shared journeys and accomplishments! 💜✨

As we reflect on last semester’s final event for A.Y. 2024-2025, our Anniversary Week now officially kicks off with the launch of WOMENifesto: Empower, Resist, Persist — a campaign by the UP Sigma Beta Sorority – Los Baños Chapter dedicated to gender justice, empowerment, and critical reflection within UPLB.

Throughout May 2025, we engaged the community through meaningful activities:

✨ College Pantry Distribution providing essential self-care items to over 80-100 students
🎥 Free Film Screening of Maria, followed by an insightful talkback with the director and featured speaker, sparking important conversations on justice and resilience
🚌 Though the Transportation Support initiative was deferred, it reflected our ongoing commitment to ease student burdens

WOMENifesto highlights our dedication to care, dialogue, and solidarity as we celebrate 70 years of sisterhood and service. Thank you to our dearest alumnaes, partners, participants, and the UPLB community for making this campaign a meaningful part of our anniversary celebration.

Last, July 18, 2025, the UP Sigma Beta Sorority – Los Baños Chapter held its annual Testimonial Dinner to honor our beloved graduating sisters of A.Y. 2024–2025 at Lola J’s 💐

This tradition stands as a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, resilience, and excellence our sisters have shown throughout their academic journey. Over an evening filled with warmth, stories, and shared laughter, we celebrated not just their achievements—but the sisterhood that carried them through.

To our dear graduates: your strength and spirit have left an indelible mark in the chapter. We are endlessly proud and excited to witness the paths you’ll pave from here on. You carry with you the legacy of Sigma Beta and the love of every sister who stood by your side.
