The greatness of Women of IBS - Genetics and Molecular Biology Division goes beyond the genetic code of life. It grows through knowledge, mentorship, leadership, and service to society.
They are not only educators—they are mentors who guide and inspire future scientists. They nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery. As leaders in both academia and research, they empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to face complex challenges.
Their research addresses real-world challenges in biodiversity, agriculture, health, and biotechnology, contributing knowledge that benefits communities and the nation.
They embody the spirit of the Babaylans—keepers of wisdom, teachers, and guides of their communities. Like them, the Women of IBS - GMBD share knowledge and inspire others through learning and discovery. Greatness is not simply written in DNA—it grows in the minds they mentor and the scientists they help shape.
