APC's School of Computing & Information Technologies is honored to host the Philippine Software Industry Association Kapehan last June 15, 2026. Conversations like these provide more than industry updates—they offer firsthand perspectives on the evolving challenges, skills gaps, talent demands, and transformation priorities shaping today's organizations. These insights are invaluable in helping ensure that our programs, learning experiences, and industry engagements at Asia Pacific College remain relevant, responsive, and future-focused.

Equally valuable was the opportunity to share APC's approach to technology education—our strong industry-centric model, Project-Based Learning (PBL), 6-month to one-year internship program, micro-credentials, and close collaboration with industry partners. It was encouraging to see how many of the challenges being discussed by industry leaders are precisely the areas APC has been intentionally addressing to better prepare students for the realities of the workplace.

These engagements continue to reinforce the importance of maintaining a strong bridge between academia and industry, ensuring that education evolves alongside the needs of the organizations our graduates will eventually serve.
