Magpapasukan Na… Hirap Pa Rin Matulog Ang Anak Mo?

Try doing these consistently.

Minsan mas nagiging hyper sila kaya mas hirap mag-calm down at matulog.

2. Less screen time before sleep

Kapag puro cellphone, tablet, o TV bago matulog, mas nahihirapan mag-relax ang utak ng bata.

Try to avoid screens at least 1–2 hours before bedtime.

4. Create a calming bedtime routine

Paulit-ulit na routine helps the brain prepare for sleep.

Example:
• dim lights
• quiet environment
• warm bath
• story time
• relaxing music
• hugs and calm voice

Consistency is important.

5. Huwag sigaw at galit bago matulog

Kapag overstimulated, napagalitan, o umiiyak ang bata bago bedtime…

mas mahirap silang makalma.

Your calmness helps regulate the child.

At tandaan mo…

Sleep is also a skill that can be guided patiently and consistently.

Focusing on the person behind the energy. 💙

ADHD is a unique way of processing the world, involving challenges with focus, executive function, and self-regulation. By understanding the true clinical signs and letting go of old stereotypes, we can create the supportive environments our children and clients need to succeed.

At SMLC, we turn understanding into action. Our result-oriented behavioral intervention helps individuals build practical executive skills, manage impulsivity, and celebrate their distinct strengths.

Let’s shape these milestones together! 🌟

Your strength isn't just in how you provide, but in how gently you hold your family together. 💙

"This is a big milestone for him, and it truly means a lot to our family." 🥹💙

Progress isn't a straight line. Sometimes a vacation or a change in weather can disrupt a child's rhythm. What matters most is having a therapist who knows how to listen, wait, and guide them back to a safe space.

A huge salute to Teacher Maida of SMLC Morong, for her exceptional patience during a tough month. Because she never gave up, this brave little boy is now calmer at home, crying less, and can seamlessly join his parents on errands where waiting is needed—completely meltdown-free!

Thank you for trusting SMLC to walk with you through both the smooth days and the challenging ones. We are always here for your family.

True strength isn’t about running without stopping. It’s about taking a quiet breath, looking at how far you’ve come, and finding the grit to keep moving forward. 💙

Letting go is the highest form of trust. 🤍

We don't always have to have the full map to move forward. This week, let’s practice the art of leaning into faith when the next step feels a bit uncertain.

Where can you trade your worry for trust today?

Masakit no?

Parang kasalanan mo lahat.

Pero tandaan mo ito:
Having a child with special needs does not mean bad parenting.

that already says a lot about your love as a parent.

Kaya sa susunod na ma-judge ka…
please remember this:

You are not failing as a parent.

You are simply raising a child with different needs in a world that still has a lot to learn about understanding.

Hindi madali, oo. Masakit? Oo.

But the truth is, life isn't always hearts and flowers; it’s a mix of happy times, unexpected hardships, and silent struggles.

Kaya whatever life throws at you right now, our dear SMLC parents, teachers, leaders, and staff, please know that you are never alone.

Whatever it is that you're going through, don't give up on life. Most importantly, don't give up on you.

Isang mahigpit na yakap sa inyong lahat. Happy Friday, SMLC Fam! 🫂💙

Acceptance means giving every child the grace to grow on their own timeline. 💙

While awareness helps us recognize when a child needs extra help, Acceptance is what allows them to truly flourish. It means moving past the initial worry of a delay and focusing entirely on the person—celebrating their unique progress and providing the right environment for them to succeed.

At SMLC, we choose acceptance every day. Through our result-oriented behavioral intervention, we meet every child exactly where they are to help them reach their next big milestone. 🌟
