⭐ 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 ⭐

Last March 29, 2026, the NSTP 2 and PSY 406 students together with ACES volunteers participated in the annual Happy Walk organized by the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines Inc. in partnership with SM Cares. 😍

The event started with a program featuring various performances, followed by the Happy Walk around the complex of SM Mall of Asia. Following the Happy Walk was the continuation of the program. 🎶💃🚶‍♂️

The experience of walking with our brothers and sisters, family and friends, truly helped foster inclusivity and love within said community. 😊

Overall, ACES and the students of Assumption College HED look forward to participating in more initiatives such as this. ❤️‍🩹

⭐ 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ⭐

On March 29, 2026, the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines Inc. in partnership with SM Cares will hold their annual Happy Walk. 🥰

The event primarily features an advocacy walk around the venue and some performances, too. It serves as a celebration of the unique abilities of people with Down syndrome, fostering a more inclusive society. ❤️‍🩹

⭐ 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 ⭐

Last February 10, 2026 the 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 was held. 🤩

The talk highlighted significant learnings on the topic of down syndrome such as how persons with down syndrome are capable of so much, given the proper support and guidance by their families. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Apart from this, it also highlighted the significance of inclusivity in dealing with one’s peers, may it be interacting with a person with a unique ability or any other person we encounter on a day-to-day basis. 🫂

Overall, the advocacy talk served as an eye-opener towards its audience, the students of Assumption College’s Higher Education Division in promoting empathy, respect, and most of all inclusivity. ❤️‍🩹
