Aspiring voice artists gathered for a day of learning, creativity, and performance during the S.T.O.P. Voice Acting Workshop: Boses Mo ang Bida Ngayong Summer held on June 6, 2026, at CreatiVoices Productions. The workshop was conceptualized by Mr. Pocholo De Leon Gonzales, founder of CreatiVoices Productions and a leading advocate of voice acting in the Philippines. Through the S.T.O.P. framework—Speak, Translate, Observe, and Perform—the program aimed to encourage aspiring voice talents to discover their potential, enhance their communication skills, and build confidence through the art of voice acting.

The morning session featured an engaging and insightful discussion led by Ralph Ernest Francia, popularly known as Direk Boggs. Drawing from his professional experience in the dubbing industry, he shared valuable knowledge, practical tips, and inspiring stories that provided participants with a deeper understanding of voice acting and its opportunities. The session was hosted by Ms. Donnah Abuyuan, whose enthusiasm and energy helped create a welcoming and interactive learning environment.

In the afternoon, participants took center stage as they applied their newly acquired knowledge through various performance-based activities, including script reading, monologue presentations, and dubbing exercises. These activities challenged them to explore different vocal techniques, express emotions effectively, and develop their creativity while performing before their peers and trainers.

The workshop concluded with a special recognition ceremony celebrating participants who demonstrated outstanding talent, dedication, teamwork, and performance throughout the event. Team Summer received both the Golden Microphone Award and the Hero’s Party Award for their exceptional participation and collaboration. Individual awards were also presented to recognize remarkable achievements: Prince Ian Cabiling was named Audio Drama King, while Kirsten Angel Ong earned the title of Audio Drama Queen. The Supreme Male Voice Award was awarded to Rue Eber L. Baricaua, and the Supreme Female Voice Award was presented to Erin Gabrielle Mangalino Ambucay.

More than just a training program, the S.T.O.P. Voice Acting Workshop became a platform where aspiring voice artists discovered their strengths, developed new skills, and gained confidence in using their voices as powerful tools for storytelling and communication. As the event came to a close, participants left inspired to continue their voice acting journey, carrying with them the lessons of Speak, Translate, Observe, and Perform. Indeed, throughout the summer workshop, every participant proved that their voice has the power to inform, entertain, inspire—and ultimately, become the star.
