While doctors focus on diagnosis and overall development, therapy evaluations look at how your child functions in daily life like movement, play, communication, self-care, and learning and help identify what specific support your child needs during therapy, including strategies that can also be done at home.
These evaluations guide therapists in creating an individualized, goal-directed and strengths-based therapy plan, so sessions are meaningful, targeted, and based on your child’s current skills.
