Champ Camp offers a learning pod in a safe environment where your children can learn from engaging activities and meaningful interactions with other children. This include fees for the learning resources and materials or equipment that we will use for our lessons. Our lessons are curriculum based which cover concepts on Math, Literacy, Practical Life and Sensory Development. All of these are well planned and cover lots of areas of learning that are important for young children.

Don't mind us, just growing some love for Dad! 😍
To close out our Father’s Day theme week, our Little Champs got a little messy to make something truly special. 🤗

These handprint trees aren't just cute keepsakes—the process helped us practice:
• Focus & Patience: Waiting for paint to dry and carefully stamping.
• Communication Skills: Sharing stories about their favorite memories with Dad while crafting.
• Tactile Defensiveness Therapy: Getting comfortable with different textures (like wet paint!) on their skin.

Our Father’s Day theme week is officially popping! 🥳 Day 2 was filled with lots of love, focus, and creativity as we worked on some very special surprises for Dad. 😍

Here’s a look at the incredible skills we practiced today:
• Fine Motor Strength & Sensory Play: Crumpling up paper to make the perfect "popcorn" for our “You’re the best POP!” cards. This builds the hand and finger strength needed for everyday tasks!
• Hand-Eye Coordination & Spatial Awareness: Carefully gluing and placing each piece of popcorn right on top of their popcorn buckets.
• Pre-Writing & Literacy: Navigating the curves and lines of the letter Ff with our tracing worksheets, connecting the sound /f/ to Father’s Day!

Kickoff for Father’s Day theme week in the pod! 🤗 Today was all about celebrating Dad while building some amazing brainpower. 🤩

Our Little Champs dived into math and creativity by:
• Matching & Tracing: Sharpening those fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and early geometry concepts with math manipulatives.
• Decorating Father’s Day Cards: Practicing tripod grasp, color recognition, and bilateral coordination while making the perfect fish card for Dad.

Camp Daycare/Learning Pod has officially come to an end, and what a week it has been! 🥳 We wrapped up our camping theme with a day full of hands-on exploration, creativity, and—of course—a yummy treat. 😋

Here is what our Little Champs accomplished today:
• Campfire Literacy: We practiced tracing camping-related words while identifying the pictures, building up those pre-writing skills, letter recognition, and vocabulary.
• 3D Bonfire Art: We finished our paint-squished paper plate bonfires by selecting and gluing down real "wood" sticks. This was a fantastic workout for fine motor coordination, sensory exploration, and spatial awareness.
• Microwaved S'mores: No campfire? No problem! We learned patience and sequencing while watching our marshmallows puff up in the microwave to assemble our own s'mores. A delicious lesson in following multi-step directions and life skills!

Our hearts (and tummies) are so full. 🥰
Happy long weekend, Little Champs! 🤗

Day 2 of Camp: Sparks of Creativity & Fine Motor Fun! 🤩

Our Little Champs are back for another day of adventure in the learning pod, and today was all about blazing new trails and "building" our very own campfires! 🤗

Today's Camp Activities:
• Blazing the Trail: We practiced our pre-writing skills by navigating tricky paths with a "trace the broken lines" worksheet, helping our campers guide their pencils with control.
• Symmetry Bonfires: We created safe (and beautifully messy!) "bonfires" by squishing vibrant paint inside folded paper plates. Opening them up to reveal a glowing, symmetrical fire was pure magic!

Skills in Action:
• Fine Motor Strength & Control: Holding pencils to trace precise lines and using those little hand muscles to press and squish paper plates helps build the foundational strength needed for writing.
• Hand-Eye Coordination: Connecting the dashes requires focus, visual tracking, and steady hand movements.
• Sensory & Cause-and-Effect Exploration: Feeling the paint squish beneath the paper and seeing how colors blend to create a brand-new texture and pattern teaches early scientific concepts in a fun, tactile way.

Pitching our tents for Camp Learning Pod! 🥳 We kicked off our Camping Theme Week with some hands-on fun that kept our Little Champs totally engaged. 🤗

Today’s adventures included:
• What Comes Next?" Worksheets: Sneaking in some logic and critical thinking by mastering patterns and sequencing.
• Marshmallow Name Sticks: Crafting our names by sticking "marshmallows" on a stick! This was a major hit for fine motor skills, letter recognition, and spelling practice.

Safe to say, these campers are s'more than ready for the rest of the week! 🪵

Wrapping up our Garden Week with a flurry of learning and creativity! 😍 Today, our Little Champs put on their thinking caps to finish up their themed activities and bring their very own mini gardens to life. 🤗

We stayed so busy today practicing some incredible milestone skills:
• Logical Thinking: Completing our garden sequencing worksheet to understand patterns and order.
• Pre-Writing & Literacy: Tracing the letter Gg (for garden!) and mastering control by tracing broken lines.
• Fine Motor Precision: Sticking paper "petals" onto popsicle stick stems to build hand-eye coordination and finger strength

For Day 2 of Gardening Week, our Little Champs got creative by painting popsicle stick "stems" and “planting” real seeds into the mini “gardens” we started on Monday.🤗

What we actually practiced:
🎨 Fine Motor Skills: Gripping small brushes and placing tiny seeds.
🧠 Cognitive Sequencing: Understanding the steps of a plant's life cycle.
🤝 Focus & Patience: Taking our time to build something from scratch.

Welcome to Garden Week in our learning pod! 🤗

Today we kicked off our brand-new theme by exploring what it takes to be a little gardener. 😉 We started the morning with a fun activity, figuring out and coloring the best clothes to wear to stay safe and comfortable while working in the dirt. 😊
Then, we officially started our first multi-day project: building our very own mini "gardens"! 😍 Today was all about laying the groundwork by tearing and sticking vibrant green crepe paper onto paper plates to create our grass. 🤩 We can't wait to see how these "grow" over the next few days! 🥰

Skills we practiced today:
• Fine Motor Skills: Ripping, crunching, and gluing crepe paper (great for those tiny hand muscles!).
• Critical Thinking & Life Skills: Categorizing and understanding appropriate clothing choices for different environments.
• Patience & Sequencing: Learning that big projects take time and happen step-by-step.

Stay tuned to watch our gardens bloom! 🌸👇

And just like that, our bird-themed week has flown by! 🥳 We wrapped up our feathery adventures today with some incredible hands-on learning. 🤗

Our Little Champs worked on a "match the shadow" worksheet, putting their visual discrimination and critical thinking skills to the test. 🤩 Afterward, we let our imagination soar by recycling egg cartons into our very own colorful birds using markers! 😍

Skills soaring high this week:
• Visual Discrimination & Spatial Awareness: Matching shapes to their shadows helps build the foundational geometry and reading readiness skills needed to distinguish letters and numbers.
• Fine Motor Precision: Grasping markers to color the small contours of the egg cartons strengthens the hand muscles essential for writing.
• Cognitive Flexibility: Transforming a everyday object like an egg carton into a bird encourages creative problem-solving and resourcefulness.
