🏆🌟 A Historic Milestone for UMak–College of Innovative Teacher Education! 🌟🏆

Last June 13, 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers formally recognized the University of Makati as the Top 6 Performing School in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (Secondary Education).

This achievement marks the first-ever Top Performing School recognition in the history of the UMak–College of Innovative Teacher Education (CITE)—a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and excellence of our graduates, faculty, staff, and academic leaders.

Adding to this momentous occasion, we proudly celebrate Ellaiza Pangilinan for securing 9th Place in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (Elementary Education). Your remarkable achievement embodies the values of excellence, commitment, and service that define the CITE community. We are incredibly proud of you!

This milestone reflects the collective efforts of the entire CITE family and the unwavering support of the UMak Management and the City Government of Makati in advancing quality teacher education. Ngayong ika-12 ng Hunyo, buong puso nating ipinagdiriwang ang Araw ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas. Pinupugayan natin ang tapang, dugo, at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani na nagbigay-daan sa malayang bansang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Bilang isang institusyon ng Edukasyong Pang-g**o, batid natin na ang tunay na kalayaan ay nagsisimula sa karunungan. Ang silid-aralan ang bagong larangan ng pakikibaka—laban sa kamangmangan, kahirapan, at kawalan ng pag-asa. 🌟 CITE Dean Participates in LEAD-TEI 2026 Part I 🌟

The College of Innovative Teacher Education (CITE) proudly celebrates the successful participation of its Dean, Dr. Jayson Bergania, EdD, in the Leading with Excellence: An Executive Program for Deans of Teacher Education Institutions (LEAD-TEI) 2026 Part I, held from June 1–5, 2026, in Manila and Laguna, Philippines. Dr. Bergania joined a select group of 50 teacher education leaders from across the country in this prestigious executive leadership program organized by the Teacher Education Council in partnership with the Philippine Normal University and other collaborating Universities.

Throughout the week, participants engaged in meaningful discussions and learning sessions on higher education governance, strategic leadership, project management, faculty development, quality assurance, and change management, all aimed at strengthening leadership capacities and advancing excellence in teacher education.

As the College continues its pursuit of innovation and academic excellence, Dr. Bergania’s participation highlights CITE’s commitment to transformative leadership, institutional development, and the preparation of future-ready educators who will make a meaningful impact in schools and communities. The second part of the program shall be held online in September and the final part in December to be held at Siliman University.

The entire College of Innovative Teacher Education community congratulates Dean Bergania for representing the College and for bringing home valuable insights that will contribute to the continuous growth and advancement of CITE.
