𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿?
More than just an educator, a Montessori Guide is a keen observer and a facilitator of discovery. Instead of standing at the front of a classroom, you are on the floor with the children, connecting them to purposeful work and supporting their natural development.


𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: You’ll curate a space that is aesthetically pleasing, orderly, and designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of the child.

𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱: You trust the child’s inner timeline. You observe their interests and challenges, providing the "keys to the universe" exactly when they are ready for them.

𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & Fun: While we follow a scientific pedagogy, we do it with a warm heart! We’re looking for someone who brings joy, song, and a gentle spirit to every interaction.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟓 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬! 🤝🏼

Today, each classroom welcomed parent guests to share what kindness means to them, providing our students with real-life examples of caring and compassion. 💛

We then celebrated our students’ efforts by awarding Kindness Certificates to them and their classes. The day culminated in the placement of the Appleseed Seal of Kindness on our main door, symbolizing our school’s commitment to growing through kindness every day. 🌱

As our Great Kindness Week comes to a close, we joyfully celebrate all the ways we’ve chosen kindness together!

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: 𝐙𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 & 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬!🍃

Today, our students learned that being kind to yourself is just as important as being kind to others. We practiced yoga poses that focus on breathing and stretching to help us relax and care for our bodies. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Afterwards, the children explored our Zone of Kindness, where they chose messages of care, stamped and signed them to share with their classmates. A wonderful reminder that kindness grows when we give and receive it.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞!

Today, we were all treated to a delightful message of kindness! ❤️ To celebrate, we gathered together to read these uplifting messages aloud, filling the air with joy and kindness. We proudly wore them throughout the day, spreading positivity throughout our school community.

Our students’, teachers’, and staff ‘s handprints create a beautiful pair of wings on our Kindness Wall. Each of us have a chance to leave our mark as a reminder that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 🪽

Our students, teachers, and staff came together to create the 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 — a beautiful reminder that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 throughout our school community. 👐🏻
