Led by the School Head, Vicente V. Vicente, and Assistant Principal, Helen G. Lopez, the faculty members of Catmon Integrated School participated in the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 today, May 7, 2026, through an online platform. The activity aimed to orient teachers on the latest reforms, updates, and policy changes in the educational system to strengthen their understanding and readiness in its implementation.

The online orientation also focused on enhancing teachers’ capacity to deliver responsive, learner-centered, and quality education aligned with the goals of the Department of Education. Through this initiative, the school continues to uphold its commitment to professional growth, instructional improvement, and effective learning delivery for all learners.

Catmon Integrated School — During the Recognition Day attended by students and parents, Sir Vic delivered his State of the School Address (SOSA) for School Year 2025–2026, highlighting the school’s key accomplishments.

He reported a high promotion rate and status of enrollment rate, reflecting the school’s strong academic performance and community trust. He also emphasized the continuous professional development of teachers and the school’s efforts to improve the health and nutritional status of learners.

Significant topics were also delivered such as the updates on academic performance, with the results in the NAT and Phil-IRI, alongside improvements in learning materials. Sir Vic likewise acknowledged the vital support of stakeholders and proudly presented the school’s awards and recognitions.

The address served as both a celebration of success and a reminder of the shared commitment to delivering quality education.

𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐎𝐫𝐥𝐲: 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐈𝐒, 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 | 17 years at CIS have truly been among the best years of his journey. Through the years, he quietly embraced many roles. He became a mentor to many, a favorite teacher to his students, a dedicated Reading Coordinator, and a true beshie to every teacher. In his own humble way, he consistently delivered quality education and helped bring pride to the school through victories in contests and presentations.

Catmon Integrated School will always be deeply grateful to have been a beneficiary of your skills, your talents, and your unwavering positivity. You have left a mark that will remain in our classrooms, in our achievements, and in our hearts.
