A new chapter officially begins for our newly recruited members of the 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 – 𝐤𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 as we successfully conducted our First Official Meeting, Orientation, Goal-Setting, and Personal Development Session.

Yesterday was more than just an orientation, it was the start of a journey filled with growth, learning, discipline, friendship, and opportunities. As we embrace the newly implemented curriculum through our Three-Term Protocol, class programs, and organizational activities, our new members were introduced to the values, standards, and culture that make every kAndilian a responsible artist and learner.

𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟:

• Good behavior and positive practices
• House rules, regulations, and organizational expectations
• Guidance, counseling, and learner welfare
• Academic support and balancing studies with performances
• Proper communication and group chat etiquette
• Announcements, attendance, and participation
• Respect for fellow members, officers, advisers, coaches, and school personnel
• Proper lines, formations, movements, and rehearsal protocols
• Teamwork, dedication, commitment, and accountability
• The do’s and don’ts of being a disciplined performing artist
• School properties and facilities

Our newest members also had the opportunity to meet the officers who will guide them throughout their kAndili journey and learn about the organization’s mission of developing not only talented performers but also responsible, respectful, and empowered young leaders.

𝐓𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐊𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬:

Always remember that being part of kAndili is not about being the best dancer, singer, actor, or performer from day one. It is about having the courage to learn, the humility to improve, the discipline to persevere, and the heart to work with others. Talent may open the door, but dedication, character, and hard work will keep you moving forward.

There will be challenges, difficult rehearsals, mistakes, and moments of self-doubt. But never be afraid to grow. Every great performer once started as a beginner. Every achievement begins with a single step, and yesterday, you took that first step.

Believe in yourself. Trust the process. Respect the journey. Support one another. Together, we will learn, create, perform, and succeed as one family.

Today marked a meaningful milestone as we held our first official meeting and orientation, where our newest kAndilians were introduced to the vision, mission, culture, and values that make our organization a home for passionate, creative, and dedicated young artists.

Beyond learning our house rules, expectations, responsibilities, and upcoming preparations, our new members were also given a glimpse of the hard work, discipline, teamwork, and commitment that have helped kAndili achieve milestones and create memorable performances through the years. Every achievement we celebrate today started with individuals who were once newcomers themselves, and now, it is your turn to write your own kAndili story.

A special thank you to our beloved Co-Adviser, Mr. Jay-Ar Banua, for leading our very first Master Class through an energetic and inspiring Hip-Hop Dance Session. Your passion, expertise, and dedication immediately ignited the enthusiasm of our newest members and reminded everyone that learning can be both disciplined and enjoyable.

Our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) headed by Mr. Neil Joseph T. Gallos, SSLG Adviser, Mark Meniola, SSLG President, the dedicated SSLG Officers, and Mr. Ryan Jay Verbo, Principal II, for spearheading a smooth, organized, engaging, and meaningful SSLG Recruitment Drive 2026.

The event became a wonderful avenue for every learner to discover opportunities, explore their interests, and find a community where their talents, skills, and passions can flourish. Through this initiative, students were given the chance to register, connect, and find where they truly belong among the various clubs and organizations of Acacia National High School.
