June 18, 2026 - Through this exercise, the DBTC community tested, evaluated, and further enhanced its emergency response capabilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all members of the institution before the opening of classes.

The nationwide drill likewise aims to assess earthquake response plans, strengthen coordination among national and regional agencies, and enhance operational readiness. DBTC extends its gratitude to everyone for their active participation and commitment to creating a safer and more prepared community.

June 18, 2026 - In line with the nationwide effort to strengthen disaster preparedness and create a culture of safety among Filipinos, DBTC participated in the 2026 Second Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

More than a compliance exercise, the NSED highlights the shared social responsibility of every individual in promoting a culture of preparedness and resilience. By actively participating in disaster risk reduction initiatives, everyone contributes to building safer communities and protecting lives in times of crisis.

June 16, 2026 - Demonstrating their enduring love and commitment to their alma mater, Batch ’76 donated ₱200,000 to Don Bosco Technical College Mandaluyong in support of the school's ongoing facilities rehabilitation and renovation projects.

The donation was formally handed over to Rev. Fr. Drans Nolasco, SDB, Rector of DBTC, by Batch ’76 President, Mr. Sonny Jalijali, and Batch ’76 Treasurer, Mr. Theodore Calaguas.

June 16, 2026 - During the gathering with the new Pinardi Youth residents, Fr. Drans SDB delivered the Good Night Talk, recalling the origins of this cherished Salesian tradition and its importance in the formation of the young. ⭐️🌌

As a proud Bosconian alumnus, he also emphasized the significance of the Mary Help of Christians Quadrangle, reminding everyone that the Salesian Family is a “family of nations.”

Reminding the young of their identity as members of the Salesian Family, Fr. Drans stressed that wherever they may go, they are called to remain Bosconians not only in name, but also in word, in action, and in spirit.

Among the many cherished Salesian traditions, the GNT serves as a reminder that even a few heartfelt words shared before the day ends can leave a lasting impression, and help shape the lives of young people.
