The Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) International Studies Department faculty, Ms. Corina Encabo, and IS Student Council President, Mr. Jeremiah Serrato, attended the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR) International Studies program's prestigious Diplomatic Dinner at the Quest Hotel last May 23, 2026.

The Diplomatic Dinner is the annual concluding event of USJR's IS program, designed to celebrate academic and leadership milestones and foster camaraderie within USJRโ€™s IS community. With the theme: โ€œA Heritage through Grace: Celebrating Diplomacy Through Time,โ€ the Diplomatic Dinner became a gathering for a few USJR IS alumni and other external guests who were invited to partake in the celebration. During the event, Ms. Encabo, an alumna of USJRโ€™s International Studies program, honorably served as both the Fine Dining Evaluator and as one of the Career Talk speakers who shared invaluable industry insights on IS career pathways.

This fruitful engagement highlights the growing collaboration between the IS programs of both USJR and CDU, as well as reinforces CDU IS Department's commitment to excellence, leadership, and active engagement in the field of International Studies.
