We gathered to hold our Recognition and Awarding Ceremony for the PEER FACILITATOR CIRCLE and GUIDANCE WORKING SCHOLARS. It was a beautiful moment to honor not just their achievements, but the heart, dedication, and service they pour into supporting our fellow students and our school community.

Every certificate and token given stands for countless hours of listening, guiding, and lending a helping hand — turning simple acts of care into lasting support. This special occasion reminded us once again that we are one UC family, bound by unity, compassion, and the drive to lift each other up. 💙

PF Alumni – Peer-sonal Story

Life leads us to where our heart truly belongs. Meet Keth Hazen Catubig, UCLM Peer Facilitator Alumni, who joined the organization out of a deep desire to help others feel safe, comfortable, and accepted. Having once felt left out himself, his experience sparked a greater understanding for those who struggle, inspiring him to be the kind of person who supports students, eases their worries, and champions mental health—believing that every voice truly matters.

As a Peer Facilitator, he learned to constantly improve, trust his abilities, and stay resilient through challenges. What he treasures most is the bond he built with fellow facilitators—becoming a second family bound by shared support and memories. For Keth, PF is best described as inclusive, guided by his powerful mantra: “The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.”

This is our spirit—once a peer, always a peer, carrying connection and growth wherever we go. 💙

The UCLM Guidance and Counseling Services Center is officially looking for passionate, driven, and dedicated individuals to join the Peer Facilitators Circle.

📋 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To apply, please ensure you prepare and submit the following:
1. Application Letter addressed to UCLM Guidance Head:
Dr. Raul A. Tumulak, Jr., RGC, LPT, CHRA, CMHT
2. Updated Resume or Curriculum Vitae with a 2x2 ID picture.
3. Recent Report Card or Grades (for 1st-year students) or a Grade Slip indicating your Final Grades and/or GWA (for continuing students).
4. Study Loadwith no broken schedule.

🌟 RESPONSIBILITIES & BENEFITS
As a Peer Facilitator Volunteer, you will get to:
- Lead group discussions, workshops, or campus activities.
- Provide mentorship and support to fellow students seeking guidance.
- Foster a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment for everyone.
- Gain invaluable leadership, communication, and resilience skills.
- Build meaningful, lasting connections with a supportive tribe of fellow volunteers.
- Must be able to render at least 2-3 hrs a day
