Opao Elementary School hosted the Midyear Implementation Review of the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) SY 2025โ2026 and a Benchmarking Activity on Central Kitchen Training Center Operations on December 10, 2025, with the presence of Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, ๐ฟ๐ง. ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ค ๐. ๐๐ช๐๐๐ก๐ค๐จ๐๐ค.
The activity gathered school heads, nutrition coordinators, administrative officers II, and program development officers to assess implementation, share best practices, and strengthen central kitchen operations, reaffirming the commitment to learnersโ nutrition, well-being, and holistic development.

Opao Elementary School joined the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women on December 11, 2025. Together with our stakeholders, parents, teachers, and learners, the school held an advocacy seminar highlighting the importance of protecting women and children from all forms of violence.
Our school head, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐ข๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐จ, delivered meaningful welcome remarks, followed by an informative discussion on VAWC prevention by resource speaker ๐๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ . Participants also took part in an open forum and pledged their commitment to support a VAW-free community.

In honor of Childrenโs Month with the theme, โOSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!โ, our dedicated and inspiring principal, Dr. Ria M. Vertulfo, guided the school in a joyful feeding program and interactive trivia session for the learners. The feeding was organized by grade level, making sure every child received healthy meals safely and comfortably. Students eagerly joined the trivia, showcasing their knowledge while learning about childrenโs rights, health, and safety.
