On June 3, 2026, the outgoing and incoming Executive Board members of TAMang Boto came together to ensure continuity in the organization’s mission and welcome a new term of student leaders.

As one term concludes and another begins, TAMang Boto remains committed to promoting electoral awareness and meaningful civic participation among Tamaraws.

𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀 𝐁𝐀 𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐘𝐎? 👀

Matapos ang panahon ng kampanya, mahalagang suriin kung paano naisasalin sa aksyon ang mga pangako at platapormang inilatag ng ating mga senador. Sa likod ng bawat pahayag, polisiya, at legislative effort ay mga desisyong may direktang epekto sa buhay ng bawat Pilipino.

Sa buwang ito ng AccounTAMBulletin, masusing tinitingnan ang campaign promises, legislative progress, at policy priorities ng ating mga pinuno upang mas maunawaan kung paano nagsisimulang maisalin ang mga pangako tungo sa konkretong aksyon at pananagutan.

Ang pagiging mulat at mapanuri ay hindi natatapos sa halalan. Mahalaga ang patuloy na pagsusuri upang mapanatili ang transparency at responsableng pamamahala.

In line with voter registration, “sapat na nga ba ang pagiging bokal sa midya at online na diskurso?” Sharing opinions, calling out issues, and joining trending discussions on social media are great, but the true power of our voice is measured when it is finally cast on a ballot.

Being a passive citizen will not take us far, and the clamor in the comment section loses its meaning if we are muted on election day just because we failed to register. True civic involvement begins with registration; it is our first step toward demanding the leadership and future that our communities deserve. Let’s not pass up the opportunity to represent the topics that are most important to young people. Get registered and take action, because knowing the right information is the first step toward casting the right vote!

For fellow Tamaraws who still have doubts or hesitations about voter registration, it is important to challenge the misconceptions that continue to discourage participation. Questions about requirements, eligibility, and the registration process should not stand in the way of civic engagement.

Voter registration is more than a requirement. It is the first step toward having a voice in issues that directly affect students and young Filipinos, from transportation costs and job opportunities to healthcare, education, and other social concerns.

Being informed allows citizens to participate more meaningfully in shaping policies and holding leaders accountable. A few minutes spent registering can create an impact that lasts far beyond Election Day.
