As part of its continuing extension and knowledge-sharing initiatives, the of partnered with the through its Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) in successfully conducting a three-day Division Training Workshop on Smart Hydroponics Systems, Web-Based Control Using ESP32, Web Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence, culminating on March 19, 2026 at the Division Office Conference Hall in .

The activity forms part of TUP’s commitment to extending technical expertise to partner institutions and strengthening innovation-driven education. Aligned with the Educational Five-Point Reforms Agenda on investing in teacher quality, the workshop gathered Junior High School Research Coaches and Senior High School TVL Teachers to deepen their competencies in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.

Serving as extension facilitators from IRTC–TUP were Engr. Nilo M. Arago (IRTC Director), Engr. Edmund G. Monilar, and Engr. Jomer V. Catipon, who shared their expertise and guided participants through hands-on activities designed to integrate Science, Technology, and Engineering into classroom instruction. Their sessions emphasized practical application, empowering educators to bring advanced and future-ready technologies into the learning environment. 💡💻📡
