Five Thomasian academic staff were elected officers of the Philippine National Philosophical Research Society (PNPRS), an organization joined by professors and students who advocate for philosophy as an essential instrument and academic discipline in nation-building and world understanding.

A research paper examining the environmental and economic effects of the National Structural Code of the Philippines’ (NSCP) transition from the 6th edition to the 7th edition on steel gable frame structures was presented at the 4th Concrete and Steel Technology, Engineering, and Design (CASTED) 2026.
The team of UST Faculty of Engineering BS Civil Engineering Class of 2026 alumni Abdel Rasheed M. Alpad Jomico Marcus O. Costales, Josh Tristan B. Fernandez, and Rowen Miguel G. Santos wrote the study. They were guided by Department of Civil Engineering academic staff, Engr. Mark Elson C. Lucio, MSc and Engr. John Paul Q. de Pedro, MSc.
