Thank you to everyone who joined us for the third installment of the Digital Discernment for All: AI Literacy Program. Participants explored how artificial intelligence can complement conventional research methods to enhance efficiency, strengthen critical analysis, and improve scholarly output while maintaining academic rigor and integrity.

Join Ms. Ma**ca Uchida, Co-Founder and Operations Lead of Indigo Research, for an engaging exploration of AI’s evolving role in our world.

Drawing on her background in Computer Science and her extensive work in applied AI for industry and government, she offers a grounded, practical perspective on how these technologies reshape labor, decision-making, and daily life. Currently pursuing a Master of Information Systems and researching Responsible AI at UPOU, Ms. Uchida will lead participants through interactive discussions to critically evaluate the opportunities and risks of an AI-driven future.

On May 15, De La Salle University Libraries--in partnership with PLDT Innolab, ePLDT, and PLDT Enterprise--hosted a dynamic event in Makati City exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping learning, innovation, and industry practice.

The event kicked off with an Open House Info Session showcasing American Spaces Philippines and DLSU Libraries’ Makerspace, highlighting these hubs as vital environments for collaboration, creativity, and future-ready engagement.
