Far Eastern University (FEU) has long been regarded as one of the leading universities in the Philippines. Since its establishment in 1928 by founder Nicanor Reyes, Sr., FEU has expanded its course offerings to cater to the evolving needs of the Filipino youth in the professional world. Its flagship campus, FEU Manila, has withstood the test of time, having survived the Japanese and American occup

ations. Despite these tumultuous times, the Manila campus remains home to the first Accountancy and Business school for Filipinos in the country, now known as the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance, and has extended its programs to the Arts and Sciences, Architecture and Fine Arts, Education, Graduate Studies, and Medicine. FEU has produced globally competitive graduates who possess industry-responsive skills and exhibit the core values of Fortitude, Excellence, and Uprightness. Montinola III has emphasized the longstanding vision of the university in saying, "Where education plays a central role in political, economic, social , and cultural life in the Philippines, FEU has led the DEMOCRATIZATION of Higher Education in affording quality education to the working classes of the country.”

Today, FEU has created a network of institutes and campuses in key locations of Greater Metro Manila as it continues to open opportunities for the middle and working classes in pursuit of quality education.

“Our goal is to provide meaningful careers for all who wish to work for FEU in an education sector that is of vital importance to our growing country,” said Montinola. “We must continue to enhance the employability of our graduates so that they can become productive members of society.”

The FEU Group of Schools includes FEU Alabang, FEU Cavite, FEU Diliman, FEU High School, FEU Manila, FEU Makati, FEU Roosevelt, and FEU Tech. As FEU looks to ahead to reaching 100 years in existence in a few years, the university stays true to its mission of producing graduates who contribute to the advancement of the country through relevant course offerings as diverse as the students and faculty who make up the FEU community. FEU was honored with the Natatanging Tagapagbayad ng Buwis para sa Negosyo (Korporasyon) award at the Gawad Manileño 2026, held as part of Manila’s 455th founding anniversary celebration.

Recognized for its contribution to the city’s growth and development, FEU was the only university among the corporate awardees, underscoring its enduring commitment to Manila’s educational, cultural, and civic life since 1928.

FEU Academy, in collaboration with the FEU Manila - Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, successfully concluded the Bacolod Chicken Inasal Batch 2 SAGAD Training: Customer Relations and Skills Training, a two-day program designed to strengthen customer service excellence, communication, and hospitality skills.

From insightful discussions and hands-on learning sessions led by ITHM Associate Dean John Lester Tuason and Dr. Driselle Pajuyo, to an inspiring closing ceremony featuring messages from FEU Academy Executive Director Melinda Torres and FEU Makati Director Earl Joseph M. Borgoña, participants gained valuable knowledge and practical skills to elevate service standards across their organizations.
