Remembering the day you walked through the Arch of the Centuries as a freshman, you were anxious, excited, and completely unaware of the beautiful, chaotic storm you were stepping into. A degree in Biology felt like a mountain you weren't entirely sure you could climb.

But getting here took everything you had. Behind every smile at the Baccalaureate Mass are the invisible battle scars of the last four years. This moment belongs to every sleepless night spent studying endlessly, the skipped meals, the grueling data-gathering for the thesis, and the weekends sacrificed to staring into microscope lenses until your eyes blurred.

It belongs to the tears shed over failing marks, failed laboratory setups, many setbacks, the absolute panic of shifting out, and the desperate prayers. You have truly given your blood, sweat, and tears to the historic labs of the Main Building, De Elera, and the Central Laboratory.

As you take that final, bittersweet walk to exit the Arch of the Centuries, may this be a reminder of your passion and hardships. You didn't just study the science of life hereβ€”you lived it. You built an entire ecosystem of friendship, late-night coffee runs, and quiet solidarity when the workload felt too heavy to carry alone.

May the Arch always serve as a monument to your unyielding passion and the hardships you beautifully endured to become the scientists, the healers, and the Thomasians you are today. You came here to learn, you survived as a family, and now you leave to bless the world.

LONG LIVE THE BATCH '26 THOMASIAN BIOLOGISTS. πŸŽ“πŸ”¬πŸ…πŸ’›β›ͺ️

Did you know that every third spoonful of food we eat depends entirely on pollinators?

Yesterday, we celebrated World Bee Day, an occasion to celebrate the tiny, unsung heroes of our planet. Bees aren't just making honey; they are actively sustaining our ecosystems, supporting biodiversity, and keeping our global food supply alive.

But right now, bee populations are facing massive threats from habitat loss and climate change, but we can change that! By planting native flowers, avoiding harsh pesticides, or supporting local beekeepers, we can protect these incredible creatures.
