𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | The CPSPA SC Executive Committee Officers successfully conducted their 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at PUP Main West Building, presided over by CPSPA SC President Cherry Jhoana Ubani.

The meeting centered on office and committee updates, covering internal developments, ongoing events, and current initiatives to ensure continuous coordination and alignment across all offices of the council.

The Executive Board also discussed pending activities and end-of-term preparations, including the status of remaining projects, conduct of the council and executive board midterm evaluation, and consolidation of accomplishment reports to assess progress and strengthen implementation moving forward.

Through active participation during the discussions and open forum, the Executive Committee reaffirmed its commitment to responsive leadership, collective accountability, and service grounded in the needs and welfare of the CPSPA student body.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay hindi simpleng parangal lamang; ito ay isang malinaw na patunay ng tiwala ng mga mag-aaral sa iyong kakayahang tumindig, manguna, at magsilbi sa isang panahong nangangailangan ng matibay na paninindigan at hindi natitinag na malasakit.

Ang 15 nominations na iyong nakamit ay sumasalamin sa kolektibong pagtitiwala ng komunidad sa iyong pamumuno. Ipinapakita nito na ikaw ay kinikilalang hindi lamang bilang isang opisyal, kundi bilang isang tunay na kinatawan ng masa, isang lider na may malinaw na pag-unawa sa mga suliranin ng mga estudyante at handang maging boses ng mga may pinakamaraming pasan. Sa gitna ng lumalalang kahirapan, pasaning pinansyal, kakulangan sa serbisyo, at iba pang hamon sa loob ng pamantasan, ang iyong nominasyon ay nagsisilbing paalala na ang pamumuno ay dapat nakaugat sa pakikibaka, hindi sa pribilehiyo.

Sa panahong ito, kinakailangan ang lider na hindi natatakot makisangkot sa tunay na laban ng mga mag-aaral, lider na kayang magsabi ng totoo, tumindig laban sa pang-aapi, at magsulong ng makabuluhang pagbabago. Ang iyong nominasyon ay nagsisilbing hamon at tungkulin, na itulak ang adyendang maka-mag-aaral, makamasang pamumuno, at mas mapalakas ang organisadong pagkilos para sa hustisyang pang-edukasyon. Nawa’y magsilbi itong hakbang tungo sa mas matatag na paglilingkod at mas masikhay na pakikibaka para sa kapakanan ng buong pamayanang PUPian.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 | LOOK | The College of Political Science and Public Administration Student Council (CPSPA SC) attended the "Think Before You Ink: Ink Smart, Choose Right" seminar, organized by the first-year BAPE students. This event took place on June 14, 2026, at Brgy. 581 Zone 57, District 4, Sampaloc, Manila.

As part of their requirements for the Civic Welfare and Service Training, the students provided the youth of Brgy. 581 with valuable information on informed voting and responsible citizenship. The speakers for the seminar included Mr. Jose Andrei P. Ariola and Mx. Tanya Reverie Rafana.

CPSPA SC Councilor Joselle Bernard Fernandez and Junior Political Economists Guild Finance Officer Alexa Abdon, alongside SCO Louie Castillo, attended the event. We extend our gratitude to the entire first-year BAPE class for conducting this seminar, as it emphasizes the important role of the youth in selecting future leaders and equips them with the knowledge needed to choose trustworthy and deserving leaders.

KILALANIN ANG MGA MIYEMBRO NG ANAK PUP 26TH CONGRESS!

Kilalanin ang mga Pangulo ng Konseho ng Mag-aaral sa Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas na nagsilbing matatag na tinig at kinatawan ng mga Iskolar ng Bayan mula sa kani-kanilang mga kolehiyo at kampus!

Sa gitna ng samu’t saring hamon, kanilang pinatunayan na ang pamumuno ay hindi lamang tungkulin kundi isa rin itong paninindigan. Sa kanilang pangunguna, isinulong ang demokratikong karapatan, kapakanan, at mga panawagan ng mga estudyante sa loob at labas ng pamantasan.

Hamon sa panibagong yugto ng ANAK PUP Congress na igpawan ang lahat ng kontradiksyon, sumandig sa lakas ng mga Iskolar ng Bayan, at patuloy na makibaka, magpunyagi, at magtagumpay!

The Student Regent holds a unique and vital position in the governance of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, serving as the sole student representative in the University’s Board of Regents—the highest policy-making body of the institution. As such, the selection of the next Student Regent is not merely a procedural undertaking but a significant exercise in student representation, leadership, and democratic participation.

Through SR WATCH, the CPSPA Student Council commits to keeping the student body informed and engaged throughout the selection process for the 20th PUP Student Regent. This initiative aims to provide timely updates, promote transparency, and encourage meaningful discourse on the qualifications, advocacies, and visions of those who seek to carry the voice of the students in university governance.

As we approach this important milestone, we invite every Iskolar ng Bayan to stay informed, participate in discussions, and take an active interest in the future of student representation in PUP.
