We congratulate De La Salle University's Department of Literature on their 60th anniversary, and all the authors who were celebrated in Masaganang Ani, the launching of books from DLSU faculty, alumni, and students. Among them were USTPH authors Alice Sun-Cua (translator of THE ART OF THE VISAYAN-HILIGAINO LANGUAGE), Chuck D. Smith (SON OF A DEAD 80'S BOLD STAR), and Isabel Cabal (SHE-DEVIL). Also launched was the new edition of National Artist for Literature Cirilo F. Bautista's THE TRILOGY OF ST. LAZARUS.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Howie Severino’s latest book, 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘐 𝘒𝘯𝘦𝘸: 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘋𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘞𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺.

This officially marks his return to book publishing after a two-decade hiatus. His work is a collection of profiles and essays on prominent figures from the clergy, media, politics, beloved artists and writers, and a few foreign celebrities he covered throughout his career.

AFTER A two-decade hiatus from book publishing, veteran journalist Howie Severino is set to return with a new title featuring essays about prominent figures he covered throughout his career.

Severino, best known as the host of long-running documentary series I-Witness, will release “People I Knew: And Some I Didn’t But Wrote About Them Anyway” under UST Publishing House.

According to UST Publishing House Deputy Director Asst. Prof. Paul Castillo, the work belongs to the tradition of creative non-fiction, which blends literary craft with factual journalistic stories.
