| 46th UPM USC 10th General Assembly Minutes

The 46th UPM USC held its General Assembly 10 last May 26, 2026 via hybrid set-up at the USC Office and through Zoom.

The Council reviewed recent activities, including the Dorm Kamustahan, Leadership Training, Kapihan sessions, Negros 19 Commemoration, Year-End Kamustahan, the Parola Fire Donation Drive, and participation in the UCSA meeting.

Members also discussed key student concerns such as local council funding, student mental health, student spaces and engagement, local electoral board challenges, and the Affirmative Action Contract. Updates on council membership and SHS representation were likewise presented.

Upcoming initiatives include the UPM Fiesta, BMI, Medical Mission, and the Bakbakan XX Friendship Games with SHS Tarlac.

| 46th UPM USC 9th General Assembly Minutes

The 46th UPM USC held its General Assembly 09 last April 9, 2026 via hybrid set-up at the USC Office and through Zoom.

The Council reviewed recent activities, including Rise for Education and participation in the Welga ng mga Tsuper. Updates on Bobby de la Paz reservation policies, council membership, and organizational matters were also discussed.

Upcoming activities include ACLE Day 2, Scholars’ Convocation, Talks for Peace, PAKUM, March for Peace, Mental Health Wellness Week, and the Leadership Summit. The USC is currently recognized as having 11 members, pending the resolution of technicalities involving SHS council representatives.

ICYMI | DORM KUMUSTAHAN 2026

Last May 6, the UPM USC conducted a Dorm Kumustahan to gather the issues and feedback of UP Manila dormers. The Kumustahan was also attended by the Chancellor to address immediate matters raised by the residents.

Among the points raised were the need for longer access to study spaces, dormitory renovations, and repairs and maintenance of facilities.

The UPM USC remains committed to advancing the welfare and living conditions of dormers.

| The 46th UP Manila University Student Council will hold its 11th General Assembly on June 15, 2 to 4 PM. The General Assembly will be conducted in a hybrid setup, with onsite participants at the UPM USC Office and online participants via Zoom.

In line with the public nature of USC General Assemblies, registration is open to all UPM students who wish to attend the meeting.

UP MANILA, IPAGLABAN ANG TUNAY NA KALAYAAN!

Sa ika-128 taon ng Araw ng Kalayaan, igiit natin na walang tunay na kalayaan habang nananatili ang bansa sa ilalim ng kapit ng imperyalistang US. Sa bisa ng mga hindi pantay na kasunduang militar tulad ng VFA, EDCA, at MDT, patuloy na nakakaladkad ang Pilipinas sa tunggalian ng malalaking kapangyarihan, habang ginagamit ang ating teritoryo, likas-yaman, at mamamayan sa interes ng dayuhang kapangyarihan.

Sa kasalukuyan, mas tumitindi pa ang militarisasyon sa ilalim ng mga joint exercises tulad ng Balikatan, na nagdudulot ng dislokasyon sa mga komunidad, pinsala sa kabuhayan at kalikasan, at banta sa pambansang soberanya. Kasabay nito, ang mga bagong anyo ng kontrol tulad ng “Pax Silica” ay nagpapakita kung paano lalong pinapasok ng dayuhang kapital at teknolohiya ang ating ekonomiya para sa paghahanda sa digmaan at mas malawak na kontrol.

Inaanyayahan ng UPM USC ang sangkaestudyantehan na makiisa sa panawagan laban sa imperyalismo. Igiit ang pagbabasura ng mga di-pantay na kasunduan at pagpapaalis sa mga dayuhang tropa sa bansa.

Kasama ang sambayanang Pilipino, ipaglaban natin ang tunay na kalayaan at demokrasya!

ANUNSYO | UPM USC Vice Chair Santos and CD Rep to the USC Badon file a Leave of Absence from the Council, effective 11 June 2026 until 06 July 2026.

In their letter, their temporary absence is in view of their participation in the upcoming University Student Council Elections.

Chairperson Nordin and the council acknowledges the leave and will take the necessary steps to address the temporary vacancy in the council.

The 46th UPM USC held its General Assembly 08 last March 21, 2026 via hybrid set-up at the USC Office and through Zoom.

The meeting listed planned activities and future events, including reconvening and convenor-related activities for Rise for Education, Kapihan, ACLE 2026, and an educational discussion on imperialism from March to April, along with upcoming events such as the Leadership Summit, ED! Wow! Fest, and a Health Forum.

The 46th UPM USC held its General Assembly 07 last March 2, 2026 via hybrid set-up at the USC Office and through Zoom.

The meeting covered general updates, including the upcoming release of guidelines for Bobby de la Paz reservation within the week.

It also discussed upcoming USC events such as Bakbakan XX, Kapihan sa Bobby de la Paz, and ACLE 2026, along with ongoing Campaigns for Education and Anti-Imperialism involving a series of meetings, discussions, and mobilizations scheduled from March to April.
