Behind every "I'm fine" can be a mountain of concealed burdens. For generations, masculinity has been tied to stealthy survival, but a real strength comes from vulnerability rather than isolation. This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, let's dismantle the stigma for all men, including fathers, brothers, trans men, non-binary people, and men from diverse backgrounds.

The people who spend their lives holding others up also deserve to be held. The shoulders that carry so much deserve rest. The hearts that provide endlessly deserve care, understanding, and compassion. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞. Today, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, we were filled with pride as the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨 visited the campus.

Returning to his roots, Mr. Montano took the opportunity to officially sign the 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫, a recognition banner dedicated to our excellent 2025 and 2026 ECT Board Exam passers. Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, some of our 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐒 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 brought these principles into real-world application through hands-on 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭-𝐭𝐨-𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 activities.

The officers applied fundamental ECET principles, including signal transmission and network protocols, when configuring routers and resolving network connectivity issues. The demonstration exhibited successful communication across wired and wireless channels, reinforcing the importance of networking architecture and communication reliability — proving that we can truly 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬. It also enhanced analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills, which are critical for future ECET professionals.

Experiences like these help our future technicians transform theory into innovation, preparing them to develop, operate, and optimize communication systems that connect today’s world beyond the limits of distance and line of sight. 📡
