TINGNAN: Idineklara ng Malacañang ang Miyerkules, Hunyo 24, 2026, bilang special non-working day sa Lungsod ng Maynila sa bisa ng Proclamation No. 1320, bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng ika-455 anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng lungsod.
Layunin ng deklarasyon na mabigyan ng buong pagkakataon ang mga Manileño na makilahok at makiisa sa mga programa at aktibidad na inihanda para sa taunang pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Maynila.
Ngayong taon, ginugunita ng kapitolyo ng bansa ang Araw ng Maynila sa temang “Matatag sa Hamon, Pinagtibay ng Panahon,” bilang pagbibigay-pugay sa makulay nitong kasaysayan, mayamang kultura, at patuloy na pag-unlad.
