We are beyond proud of our very own Elijah Eliang for representing the University of Santo Tomas at KIDLAT 5.0: Collective Identity and Narratives in Community-Oriented Spaces last May 25, 2026.
Elijah presented his groundbreaking thesis, "THE COLUMN: Designing a Spatial Zoning Focused Production Space for Freelance Journalism Through an Activity-Based Working Model," developed under the guidance of his adviser, IDr. Mikki L. Shiu. His thesis on activity-based working models for freelance journalism is a perfect example of how interior design can respond to modern community needs.
Being selected for this national platform by the Council of Interior Design Educators (CIDE) is a testament to his hard work, research, and innovative vision for the future of interior design.

Rooted Visions came to life as ideas took the stage and spaces told their truths. We listened, learned, and walked through visions grounded in culture, place, and purpose—proof that when roots are strong, creativity grows wild.

Last April 28, 2026 the Interior Design Innovators invited Daikin Philippines, one of the leading air conditioning unit brands in the Philippines, alongside our guest speaker Mr. Vincent Hong, to discuss the importance of design technology and how it shapes the visionary experience in every interior space. ✨
