Mapúa University Central Student Council

ADVISORY: There will be no classes and office operations at the Intramuros Campus tomorrow, June 24 in observance of Manila's 455th Founding Anniversary, which has been declared as a non-working holiday by the Malacañang Palace.

As per the University, regular office work and classes will proceed as scheduled at the Makati and Ayala Malls Manila Bay campuses.

In line with the successful culmination of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the candidates continue to carry the competition’s purpose beyond the stage—transforming advocacy into meaningful action.

As communities continue to face the challenges brought by rising fuel prices and the ongoing oil crisis, the candidates united through a 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 to extend support to those most affected. Through the collective efforts of the candidates and the community, a portion of the proceeds from PopTix sales was dedicated to this initiative, with 𝟐𝟎% 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐓𝐢𝐱 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 in support of sectors affected by the crisis.

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, candidates gathered to provide assistance to public transportation drivers and individuals affected by the crisis. Leading the initiative during the Intramuros leg was 𝑴𝒔. 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒕 (𝟐𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓-𝑼𝒑), 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐁𝐄, who helped extend support and solidarity to members of the commuting and transport community. The outreach continued along 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭, 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐢, 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, where 𝑴𝒓. 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒓 (𝟑𝒓𝒅 𝑹𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓-𝑼𝒑), 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐁𝐄, joined the effort in bringing assistance closer to communities facing economic hardship.

She has served as Secretary-General of the PUP House of Parliamentarians, a Senior Council Officer for the CSC, and Corporate Secretary of PasigLaban Kabataan Inc., bringing extensive public policy experience from the DFA, DILG, and DepEd.
