ADVISORY: There will be no classes and office operations at the Intramuros Campus tomorrow, June 24 in observance of Manila's 455th Founding Anniversary, which has been declared as a non-working holiday by the Malacañang Palace.

As per the University, regular office work and classes will proceed as scheduled at the Makati and Ayala Malls Manila Bay campuses.

The Engineering Research and Development for Technology (ERDT) Steering Committee Meeting was successfully held on June 11, 2026 at Ateneo de Manila University.

The gathering brought together DOST-Science Education Institute and Project Leaders and staff from eight (8) consortium to discuss important updates, directions and initiatives aimed at strengthening the ERDT program and advancing engineering research and development in the country.

ERDT Handbook Workshop

The ERDT Handbook Workshop was successfully conducted last June 10, 2026 at the Engineering Library Learning Commons, UP Diliman from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

ERDT staff from the 8 consortium gathered to update the ERDT Handbook and to strengthen their understanding of the program, policies and guidelines ensuring that everyone stays aligned, informed and empowered.

ERDT Mapúa Scholarship Program Selection Day

Aspiring scholars took a step closer to their dreams as the ERDT Scholarship Program—supporting MS and PhD Engineering programs—held its Selection Day on June 1, 2026 at the Yuchengco Innovation Building, Mapúa University Intramuros.

The evaluation was led by the Dean of School of Graduate Studies and ERDT Project Leader, Dean Alvin R. Caparanga, alongside a distinguished panel: Dr. Jonathan Salvacion, Dr. Lemuel Tayo, Dr. Kristopher Ray Pamintuan, Dr. Michael Young, Dr. Marloun Sejera and Dr. Michelle Almendrala.
