The Benilde Marketing Management Program, through the class of Mr. Ed Timbungco, Professor of Benilde BSBA-Marketing Management, invites you to another exciting Industry Expert Hour titled:

THE EVOLUTION OF INFLUENCE IN THE ALGORITHM ERA

In today’s digital world, influence is no longer just about popularity. It is shaped by algorithms, content strategy, audience behavior, platform culture, and authenticity. This session will help future marketers understand how brands, creators, and digital communities build relevance in an online space that changes every day.

Joining us is Ms. Jel Directo, President of the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP), Chief Operations Officer of Digital Young Creators (DYC) under DMAP, and former Deputy General Manager of Hepmil Philippines (PGAG).

With over 15 years of experience in marketing, digital media, content strategy, advertising, sports, and the creator economy, Ms. Directo will share valuable insights on how influence continues to evolve in the algorithm era.
